Table of Contents
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register for a Prodel account, we collect your name, email address, password, and optional profile details such as a photo, job title, or country of residence.
Learning Activity
We collect data about the courses, programs, and assessments you interact with — including progress, completion status, quiz scores, assignment submissions, and certificates earned.
Payment Information
If you enrol in a paid program, our payment processor collects your billing details. Prodel does not store full card numbers; we retain only a transaction reference and the last four digits necessary for receipts.
Device & Usage Data
We automatically collect IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and session duration to understand how our platform is used and to diagnose technical issues.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and pixel tags to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure the effectiveness of our communications, and serve relevant content. You can control cookies through your browser settings; see our Cookie Policy for details.
2. How We Use Your Information

- Send promotional communications about new courses or offers (you may opt out at any time).
- Conduct analytics and research to understand learning outcomes and improve content quality.
- Detect fraud, prevent abuse, and ensure platform security.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Information Sharing
Instructors & Institutions
If you enrol in a course offered by a partner university or institution, that institution may receive your name, enrolment status, and performance data to administer the programme and issue credentials.
Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party vendors — such as cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics providers — solely to provide services on our behalf and under strict confidentiality obligations.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Prodel, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers
If Prodel is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
Aggregated Data
We may share aggregated, de-identified information (e.g. "60 % of learners complete this course within 30 days") that cannot reasonably identify any individual.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request account deletion at any time; we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business interest (e.g. financial records for the period required by tax regulations).
5. Your Rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction — request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting past processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@useprodel.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures — including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits — to protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure, or destruction. No system is entirely foolproof; if you suspect unauthorised access to your account, please contact us immediately.
7. Children's Privacy
Prodel is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact info@useprodel.com and we will promptly delete it.
8. International Data Transfers
Prodel operates globally. If you access our platform from outside the country in which our servers are located, your data may be transferred across international borders. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms to safeguard your data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform before the change takes effect. Continued use of Prodel after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
